# What is a duvet cover and how does our work?

## Construction, closure details, sizing, and insert compatibility

### What Is a Duvet Cover?

A duvet cover functions like a large pillowcase for a comforter insert. The insert goes inside the duvet cover and is secured in place.

### Closure Style

All duvet covers feature:

- Button closure

This is our standard across all duvets and does not vary by style.

### Interior Construction

Each duvet includes:

- Four interior corner ties

These ties attach to the duvet insert to prevent bunching or shifting once inserted.

---

### Inserts

We offer two insert options:

- Feather
- Down alternative

---

### Sizing

- Available in Queen and King
- All bedding is generously sized

We intentionally avoided “cut sizing” to reduce common customer complaints about insufficient mattress coverage.
